Casting Call for 10 Male Characters for Webseries Audition

We are casting male actors for an upcoming comedy web series. We are looking for energetic, expressive, and humorous performers who can bring a variety of comedic characters to life. Actors of different ages and styles are encouraged to apply. The roles will include quirky, over-the-top, and situational comedy characters, each with unique personalities and comic traits. Auditions will be held both in-person and via self-tape submissions, allowing actors to showcase their timing, expressions, and improvisational skills. This is a great opportunity for aspiring and experienced actors to feature in a fun, entertaining web series.

• Personality & Comic Style: Apna aapko hero samajhne wala, filmy gestures, overacting, confident aur flashy style. Dramatic poses aur expressions se comic timing dikhaata hai.
• Comic Style: Overacting, filmy dialogues, “grand entry” moments
• Audition Requirements:
  • Scene acting with exaggerated expressions
  • Deliver at least 2–3 dramatic dialogues
  • Showcase signature pose/entry

Scene: Apne dost ke samne ladki ke samne filmy style mein dialogue bol raha hai.
Audition Dialogue:
“Arre yaar, yeh dosti bhi na… asli mein main hero hoon, par duniya mujhe side role mein daal rahi hai! (pose leke, hair flip) Ek din aayega jab main entry karunga… hawa chalegi, ladkiya girengi… aur director bolega ‘cut cut cut!’ Kyunki overacting… oh bhai, overacting toh main kabhi kam hi nahi karta! • Sab problems ka jugaad nikalne wala, overconfident, thoda nerdy aur witty, gestures aur expressions se comic effect.
• Comic Style: Logical ya illogical solutions, giving unnecessary tips
• Audition Requirements:
  • Perform a problem-solving scene with funny twists
  • Show smart-talking & confident gestures
  • Use over-the-top “jugaad” ideas

Scene: Doston ka phone kharab hai, solution de raha hai.
Audition Dialogue:
“Arre bhai, phone charge nahi ho raha? Chill kar… fridge mein rakh do… thodi der ke liye… cooling se battery fresh ho jaayegi. (dramatic wink) Mere papa toh TV ka remote bhi microwave mein rakh ke kaam kar dete the! Main hoon na, solution ka king! Agar yeh bhi fail ho gaya… mains wire se connect kar ke… nahi nahi, fridge wala hi perfect hai! (hands spread, confident look) Dekh bhai, smart hona simple hai… creativity chahiye, aur main expert hoon! Har problem ka solution mere paas hai, bas dikhana padta hai thoda jugaad… aur waise bhi, life mein main hi genius hoon! • Personality & Comic Style: Shy, nervous, galat naam le leta hai, romantic aur awkward, cute expressions aur gestures se comic timing.
• Sweet, shy, awkwardly romantic
• Comic Style: Forgetful, confused, awkward silences
• Audition Requirements:
  • Romantic scene with slight confusion
  • Forget dialogues mid-way naturally
  • Show flustered expressions & comic timing

Scene: Ek ladki se baat kar raha hai, par galat naam le leta hai.
Audition Dialogue:
“Hii… Sh… Shilpa… sorry sorry, Priya! (facepalm, nervous laugh) Main na… tumhe dekhte hi khud confuse ho jaata hoon. Matlab tum meri crush ho ya crash? (awkward smile) Waise… tum meri life ki Ctrl+Z ho… matlab galti undo kar do. (hands shake, stammer) Tumse baat karna… jaise Excel ka formula samajhna… samajh na aaye, par try karna padta hai! Scene: Shaadi mein mithai khane se mana kar raha hai.
Audition Dialogue:
“Arre bhai, yeh ladoo mere biceps ki dushman hai! (flexing, veins show) Dekho, glucose barh jaayega toh pump khatam ho jaayega… gym ka rule no.1 – shaadi ka khana bhi protein ke hisaab se khana chahiye! Mithai nahi, sirf chicken aur salad! (dramatic pause, pointing at dessert) Aur bhai, selfie mat lena, calories badh jaayengi… gym ka hero hoon main! Shaadi ke dance mein bhi pump maintain karna hai… tabhi biceps ki respect bachi rahegi! • Audition Requirements:
  • Act with laptop/mobile as prop
  • Show overconfidence & eventual failure
  • Technical slang with humorous timing

Scene: Apna hi password bhool gaya.

(hands shake, dramatic) Hacker bhi kabhi ‘forgot password’ pe click karta hai kya? Security breach toh main roz karta hoon… par apna password yaad nahi… Shayad life ka ultimate hack password manager hi hai! Arre bhai, password ke bina hacker bhi helpless hai… helpless! • Comic Style: Stops dialogue for selfie/reel moments

  • Show exaggeration & obsession with social media
  • Facial expressions & body language are key

  • Slapstick & situational comedy scenes

Scene: Classroom mein teacher gussa kar raha hai, yeh bina bole funny expressions deta hai.
Audition Dialogue/Action: Esme Kewal aapko Face expration & Reaction dene hai

• Teacher: “Tumhare notes nahi laaye?” → (Shocked expression, eyes wide, slow head shake)
• Teacher: “Pen bhi nahi diya?” → (Pen se moustache bana ke serious face, eyebrow raise)
• Teacher: “Tumhare answers ka kya?” → (Thoda sa thumbs up, exaggerated shrug)
• Teacher: “Bas ab tumhe detention milega!” → (Dramatically flop in chair, pretend faint, glance at camera, small smirk)
